Why Prepare ?

 

Why should we prepare?  The Government is there to help, right?  Read, "Do you really believe the Government is going to save you?" This country was founded on the Pioneer spirit.  A can do attitude in spite of the obstacles presented.  Those who have this attitude, tend to survive great adversity.  Those who don't tend to fill the victims footnotes of history. 

 

Disaters, civil unrest, war, famine and disease have been with us throughout our recorded history.  It is reasonable to believe they will continue to be with us.  If the weatherman tells us it is going to rain, do we not roll up our car windows and take an umbrella?  Should we not prepare where we can for other challenges in life? 

 

But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those

of his own house, he hath denied the faith,

and is worse than an infidel.
